Directed by Huang Xi, executive produced by Hou Hsiao-Hsien, and starring Sylvia Chang, “Daughter's Daughter” premiered at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival, screened in competition at the 37th Tokyo International Film Festival, and closed the 21st Hong Kong Asian Film Festival. It received five nominations at the 61st Golden Horse Awards, with Huang Xi winning for Best Original Screenplay.
